  • your payment information (e.g., your credit card details) if you purchase products and or services from us;

  • details of the products and services you have enquired about or purchased from us, together with any additional information needed to respond to your enquiries and deliver those products and services;

  • information you provide to us through customer surveys;

  • if you are a supplier or prospective supplier, information about your business;

  • your browser session and geo-location data, device and network information, statistics on page views and sessions, acquisition sources, search queries and/or browsing behaviour;

  • information regarding your access and use of the Site, including through the use of Internet cookies, the type of browser you are using, your communications with the Site, the type of operating system you are using and the domain name of your Internet service provider;

  • additional personal information that you provide to us, directly or indirectly, through your use of our Site, associated applications, associated social media platforms and/or accounts from which you permit us to collect information; and

  • any other personal information requested by us and/or provided by you or a third party during our communications.

How do we collect your personal information?

There are aspects of the site which can be viewed without providing personal information. However, for access to future Yes Naturopathy customer support features you are required to submit personally identifiable information.

  • when you purchase a service or product while attending the clinic or through the phone or online;

  • when you make a booking for a consultation or other service provided in person, over the phone or online;

  • before, during, or after consultations;

  • when you correspond with us on a social media platform such as Facebook, Instagram, or similar sites.

Where reasonable and practicable to do so, we will collect your Personal Information directly from you. However, in some circumstances we may be provided with information by third parties. For example, personal information may also be collected from other sources, such as:

  1. your guardian or responsible person (if under 18); and

  2. other involved healthcare providers, such as specialists, allied health professionals, hospitals, community health services and pathology and diagnostic imaging services. 

In such a case we will take reasonable steps to ensure that you are made aware of the information provided to us by the third party.

If you do not provide us with personal information when requested to do so, we may not be able to provide our products and/or services to you, carry out your instructions, or otherwise achieve the purpose for which the information has been sought.

Wherever lawful and practical, you will have the option of not identifying yourself when dealing with us.

Disclosure of information outside the jurisdiction of collection

 

Yes Naturopathy will not disclose information obtained in confidences from or about a patient unless consent has been given. Records are kept in safe and secure storage, with restricted access and confidentiality, except:

  • in an emergency or urgent situation where the information may prevent possible injury to the patient of the other person;

  • where required to do so by law;

  • As in alignment with the Australian Naturopathic Practitioner's Association's (ANPA) Code of Ethics

To the extent that we do share your personal information, we request that party to comply with the privacy standards as described in the Privacy Act

How do we store, protect, and maintain the quality of your personal information?

Yes Naturopathy is committed to ensuring the safety and security of your personal information. It is important that your personal information is up to date and accurate. Yes Naturopathy shall take reasonable steps to ensure this. If you find that information Yes Naturopathy has is inaccurate or incomplete, please advise us as soon as is practical so that records can be updated and ensure that quality service is provided to you.

Accessing Your Personal Information

You have a right to access your personal information, subject to exceptions allowed by law. If you would like to do so, please let us know. You may be required to put your request in writing for security reasons. Yes Naturopathy reserves the right to charge a fee for searching for, and providing access to, your information on a per request basis.

We may use cookies on our Site to store your preferences and assist with site navigation and user-friendliness. Cookies show traffic patterns, which areas of our website are visited most or least, and then improves Yes Naturopathy online products and services. How can you lodge a privacy-related complaint, and how will it be handled?

Yes Naturopathy takes concerns and complaints regarding privacy seriously. You should express any privacy concerns in writing and Yes Naturopathy will attempt to resolve it within 45 business days.
